1. Carolina Speech and Debate will host their annual camp from August 10-14. The camp is an intensive program led by experienced coaches and nationally competitive students. It’s designed for students who want to learn the basics of speech and debate. Campers will get a strong start to the year by learning key skills, watching live debates and speeches from top-ranked students, and participating in hands-on activities. By the end, students will gain confidence, improve their speaking abilities, and be ready for the upcoming season.

For students who are absolutely unable to attend, recorded sessions will be provided. These will need to be watched prior to the first club meeting, ensuring everyone begins the year equally prepared.

The club fee includes the camp book/handouts and snacks. Students may bring their own lunch and will have access to a microwave if they’d like to warm it up.
